Volunteer

Whether you can spare a few hours or commit to a more significant involvement, your contribution makes a big impact on our students’ educational journey.

All volunteers must comply with the school Privacy and Confidentiality Requirements and return an acknowledgment form that you can download here. Volunteers must also complete a CORI form, which can be downloaded here or requested at the front desk of either school.

Are you interested in any of the volunteer opportunities listed below? Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Anna Walker. Thank you for your dedication to our school community.

Please note that all volunteers must complete a CORI form and Volunteer Agreement before entering the schools. The forms can be obtained from the front office of the school or downloaded them:

Lunch & Recess Volunteers

The support of parents, grandparents, and other caregivers in supervising lunch and recess is invaluable to the school community. Volunteers actively contribute to the supervision and support of lunch and recess activities for their child’s class by helping with the lunch routine, cleaning lunch tables, and ensuring a safe and fun recess experience.

The dedication of these volunteers is greatly appreciated and plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall school experience.

  • Room Parents

Room Parents are set up by the volunteer coordinator at the start of the school year. Room Parents act as a liaison between the teacher, parents, and students, facilitating communication and coordination. Specific duties may include: sending out event reminders, setting up sign-ups to facilitate classroom events, coordinating supply drives, coordinating teacher gifts, and taking photos of events for the yearbook.

  • Yearbook

Yearbook volunteers play a vital role in capturing and preserving cherished memories of the school year. As a yearbook volunteer, your tasks may include: photography, design and layout, collecting content from the school, and editing.

  • Bake Sales

Volunteers are often needed to provide baked goods at various events.

  • Teacher Appreciation

The PTO has an active Teacher Appreciation Committee that recognizes our teachers throughout the year through gifts, food, and events. Volunteer opportunities include helping with Teacher Appreciation Week activities and the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.
